PSQ Archive

Individual members of the Academy of Political Science are entitled to the full text of articles and book reviews from PSQ issues published in recent years. Each new issue is added upon publication. Contents are fully searchable by title, text, and author.

In addition to your hard copy issues, PSQ's online archive is a user-friendly way to conduct research and learn about government and the political process. It is a helpful tool for students doing academic research, college and university professors preparing lectures and course reading assignments, and for readers who are simply interested in increasing their understanding of the structures which affect their lives.

PSQ in JSTOR from 1886-1998

Through a special arrangement between the Academy and JSTOR, we are able to offer online access to the searchable full text of all articles and book reviews since PSQ’s founding in 1886 to five years earlier than the current issue. JSTOR now includes access to all 150 issues of the Proceedings of the Academy of Political Science that were published as a series from 1910 to 1991.

Also through a collaborative pilot program, the Academy of Political Science can offer its members access to the back issues of other select journals in JSTOR: American Journal of International Law, American Political Science Review, PS: Political Science and Politics, Proceedings of the American Political Science Association, and American Journal of Political Science. Individual access subscribers will be able to search and browse the full text of all of these journals plus PSQ and the Proceedings of the Academy of Political Science.

This arrangement is only available to current individual members of the Academy as an add-on of $29 to annual membership dues.
