By activating your Internet access to the Political Science Quarterly archive, dating back to 1996, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

  1. You agree to obtain at your own cost all telecommunications and other equipment and software (including an Internet browser and Portable Document File Reader) together with all relevant software licenses necessary to access the Journal. Viewing and printing articles requires Acrobat Reader software. It is available for downloading, free of charge, at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html.

  2. You must keep your Member ID as well as the username and password selected by you confidential, and you must not divulge them to any third party during the currency of this Agreement or at any time after the termination of it.

  3. You may download, display, view and print off single copies of abstracts and articles for your own personal use for research and private study purposes only.

  4. Save only for the purpose set out in paragraph 3 above you may not store permanently or transiently on any medium, modify, transfer, transmit, reproduce, loan to any third party or publish, or otherwise exploit the whole or any part of any article or abstract by any means.

  5. The Journal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Academy of Political Science gives no warranty, express or implied, and makes no representation that the Journal will be of satisfactory quality, suitable for any particular purpose or for any particular use under specified conditions, (notwithstanding that such purpose, use, or conditions may be known to The Academy of Political Science), or that the Journal will operate error free or without interruption or that any errors will be corrected, or that the material published in the Journal or otherwise accessible through the on-line service is either complete or accurate.

  6. In no circumstances will The Academy of Political Science be liable for damages including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, or corruption of data, loss of programs loss of business, goodwill, or any other incidental, consequential or indirect losses of any nature arising out of the use or inability to use the Journal or from any errors, omissions, or other inaccuracies in or corruption caused whether by transmission processing or otherwise to any material published on or accessible through the Journal.

  7. Nothing contained in this single user license gives you any rights in the intellectual property of The Academy of Political Science or otherwise made available through the Journal.
