Joseph M. Bessette is Alice Tweed Tuohy Professor of Government and Ethics at Claremont McKenna College. He received an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Physics from Boston College. His areas of expertise are American Politics, Congress, Crime and Criminal Justice, Government Ethics, Prison System, Ethics and Moral Issues.
