F. Gregory Gause, III holds the John H. Lindsey ’44 Chair as professor of international affairs and head of the International Affairs Department at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. He received his Ph.D. in political science from Harvard University and his B.A. from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. His research interests focus on the international politics of the Middle East, with a particular interest in the Arabian Peninsula and the Persian Gulf.
